The window and door were already there, we just made the space work by adding all the elements to make it cozy, elegant and functional. Also to make sure it wouldn't feel or look like a basement. We saved the beautiful laundry soap stone sink and moved it to other room in the basement to make it the laundry room.
Expanded the family room to give the client more room for sitting area next to the kitchen.
Added a new entrance porch and knocked indoor walls for a more open space and better flow. The reclaimed brick façade was saved and found more to replace the wood panel next to the front door and for the piers.
