Isabel Heimark grew up in a household where her mother, without being a professional designer or decorator, had an eye for style and decorated their homes beautifully. Her father was a businessman and they relocated several times while she was growing up.
Isabel graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Art and Language Studies. During college she was fascinated by art, color and architecture without knowing then that design would become her passion. She had the opportunity to travel several times to Europe and Asia and that passion kept growing as she visited the wonderful cities and couldn’t get enough of the architecture and all the elements that surrounded her. This ultimately led towards getting an Interior Design degree from Harcum College.
While getting her Interior Design degree she started remodeling her own home, which became part of her portfolio. After getting her degree, Isabel opened her Interior Design business and already had clients waiting for her to remodel their residences. After a couple of years on her own, she was offered a position as a Senior Interior Designer at a prestigious Design/Build firm in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania and worked for them for a few years. This gave her the opportunity to gained valuable experience working directly with clients from the design phase to the construction, the selection of their furnishings and oversee all stages of each installation through to a successful conclusion.
